Well, there are days that look good on paper and weddings that turn out even better.

Aine & Brian’s wedding at Chateau de Saint Martory was one such.

Travelling down the evening prior, the light over the Pyrenees was stunning and the closer I got the better it got. Until it got dark.

I won’t mention my hotel other than to say it was bizarre. And breakfast was not available. Not even coffee. So off to the small and very pretty town of Saint Martory for coffee in one of the local establishments. And that was even more bizarre but…

It was early Sep and more than a bit of a nip in the air threatening an early Autumn/Fall but remained sunny throughout the day.

The chateau, once you got past the Fort Knox security was picturesque to say the least and without question, a new favourite of mine.

Aine & Brian’s wedding was a very multicultural affair with Aine originally from Ireland and Brian from Canada but with Russian ancestry. Plus guests from all over.

As is usually the case, I tend to let the results tell their story rather than my words and above is their wedding film. Below, a slideshow of extended highlights and below that, a series of pics.

If you were a guest and would like to access the full gallery and maybe order a print or two, you can do that by clicking here.

Finally, special mention to one of my favourite wedding bands, Rip It Encore who performed throughout the day. Amazing as always fellas!
